Peter Papamichael is a real estate entrepreneur and construction industry leader with over 20 years of experience developing, building, and delivering complex projects throughout New York City. As Co-Founder and Executive Managing Director of VOREA Construction Group, Peter leads the firm’s business development and client relationships, while driving the strategic problem-solving that defines VOREA’s approach to every project. 

Peter’s edge is knowing how to make ambitious projects work. A Cooper Union-trained civil engineer, his integrated background across development and construction allows him to cut through the complexity of New York City real estate — aligning design, constructability, budget, and sequencing to deliver projects that are both financially sound and true to the original vision. 

Peter founded The VOREA Group in 2009, growing it into one of New York City’s most respected vertically integrated real estate and construction platforms, delivering over 1.5 million square feet of new construction and adaptive reuse projects across the five boroughs. In 2012, he expanded the platform to include VOREA Construction Companies, a general contracting and construction management firm that has completed over 1 million square feet of ground-up and renovation work citywide. In October 2025, VOREA and its affiliates merged with The Domain Companies, one of the nation’s leading mixed-use real estate development firms, combining the platforms to accelerate growth across New York City and beyond.
